Looking forward to a break
With semester break just around the corner, I am trying to find things to look forward to. Here are just a few.聽
Exercise: gym, walking & home workouts
I was recently gifted a Fitbit which I really appreciated because I owned聽one a couple of years ago. I found it useful to track the sort of exercise I undertook during the week, and my sleep habits! So, I am keen to go back to tracking as it鈥檚 a gentle reminder for me to get more active and sleep earlier. How do you incorporate active minutes聽in聽your day-to-day life?
Learning to accept mistakes
As I near 25, I鈥檝e been reflecting on the chapter of my life that鈥檚 my early twenties 鈥 a time filled with successes and (quite a few) mistakes.
My go-to smoothie recipe
Drinking a smoothie is one of highlights of my morning.聽It鈥檚 a healthy start to the day and provides lots of energy! While I am a fan of cafe smoothies聽or a cheeky boost juice, I often make my own at home (thank you to my trusty nutri-bullet)!

Breakfasts around the world

The freezing early mornings are ironically a wonderful time to get the blood running with a workout. It means a late breakfast which tends to come in the form of a brunch.聽
A new book? How frightening
I love reading, I always have, but the problem I have with it is that I find it really difficult to leave the comfort and safety of teenage and young adult fiction. I find the romance of YA fiction to be idealistic and thrilling 鈥 the way characters are swept off their feet, the improbable meet-cutes, the aspirational promises they make to each other鈥鈥檓 a huge softie, it鈥檚 true. I also love fantasy, but the adult fantasy is just so weird sometimes. Thankfully, I can always rely on good ol鈥 teenage fiction to bring me the joy of magic.
