What would I wear with Harry Styles?
Ah, Harry Styles, the iconic British heartthrob of our dreams and multi-Grammy award winner, Wattpad’s favourite college bad boy and the reasonÌýI have a soft spot for curly-haired brunettes.
My 11-year-old heart melted like a Zooper Dooper on a warm summer’s day the moment I heard himÌýconfess how I light up hisÌýworld like nobody else and how overwhelming his hair flipping was to me. Harry’s style has always been the blueprint for mid-2010 fashion (don’t even deny it, I know you guys were out here buying Chelsea boots and wearing bandanas over your manbuns)Ìýbut he’s earned himself the title of fashion icon with his new sense of style – as if his last name fated him to be so. My style grew along with his over the years and sometimes, I like to picture what I would wear if we ever got the chance to hangout. I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty entertaining to plan outfits in my head based on absurd events that has 0.01% chance of ever occurring.

Grabbing Coffee at the Beachwood Café
I reckon it would be chilly enough in the mornings when it’s fall in Los Angeles that I get to put on something a little warm for our coffee runs. We’d sit side-by-side on the stools facing the window for two reasons – to people watch and feel the LA sun on our skin. Harry would probably wear his iconic J.W. Anderson knit cardigan, so I think I’ll go down that route too, sipping chai latte in my oversized vintage knit sweater. It’s black with vibrant Matisse-esque designs spaced out at the front. I’ll pair that with my wide leg cropped denim jeans, throw on some black socks and slip into a pair of black loafers. I’ll have my hair held up with a blue claw clip and sling my small, beaded bag over my shoulder to match the jeans. Something simple to avert attention from the paparazzi.

Walking the Red Carpet at the Premier of Don’t Worry Darling
Since the movie is set in the 50s, I thought I’d go for a look á la the classic Hollywood 1950s housewife as the show centres around such character. I have this gorgeous white A-line midi skirt with blue and red tartan prints that I bought a couple of months ago which I might pair with my fitted blue knit top. It’s short-sleeved so it would probably be a good idea to have a cropped red cardigan hung over my shoulder, ready to cover me up when it gets cold in the theatre. When I have the money – or surely, they’d want to sponsor me right?ÌýI’m walking the red carpet with Harry Styles, which isÌýlike free advertising on the front pages of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar -ÌýI’d finish-off the look with a pair of white Margiela Tabi ballerina pumps, a juxtaposition of modern and vintage fashion. Accessories consistÌýof a simple pearl necklace and earrings, bumped hair covered with a scarf like Olivia Rodrigo in her Déjà Vu music video, big sunglasses inspired by Jackie OÌýand a mini white bag. Harry and I are totally flooding your Twitter timeline with our outfits.

Karaoke with Alexa Chung and Nick Grimshaw
I’m going to have to put in a little more effort with this one as the paparazziÌýwould double in size with the presence of two other iconic British pop figures, but I’m going to pull it off as though I threw it all on in the last minute for that effortless look. I’ll be belting Fleetwood Mac and Prince all night, so I think it’s only right to pay homage to rock and roll through my outfit. Plus, we’ll probably be dancing a lot too, so I want to wear something that makes it easy for me to break into my groovy steps. With that being said, I’ll grab my cream baby tee cut to the waist with ‘Rock and Roll Saved My Soul’ written on it, button up my flared black jeans and jump into my black cowboy boots. I’ll have my black shoulder bag adorned with white stitching to carry my film camera and a copy of ABBA’s Greatest Hits in case they don’t have it. I’ll braid my hair into pigtails, dress my fingers with rings and put on my star hoop earrings. Sleek black oval sunglasses to block out the flashing cameras is a must!

Until the universe grants me these unattainable scenarios, I’ll have to wear these outfits to class or when I’m hanging out with my friends. Harry, if this post somehow gets into your hands, let’s hangout. I have a copy of Just Kids we can read under the trees at the Botanic Gardens.
