Okta Multi-factor Authentication is coming soon to PageUp

Laptop, phone and daily planner on desk

In light of the recent cyber-attacks, ITDS are undertaking work to improve the security and safety of our systems, as well as simplifying access across the University through an improved single sign-on process.

As a result, the PageUp application will soon go-live with Okta Multi-factor Authentication integration. The integration is scheduled to occur on 2 December 2022 at 8am, and it’s anticipated there won’t be any downtime / user outage for the cut-over.  Adding Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) to access the University systems and data adds an additional layer of security to protect personal and sensitive data. In fact, you have probably logged on with Okta and MFA through other University systems already. More information

This change will only impact you if you currently log into PageUp via SSO / CAS with your University credentials. After go-live, you will need to update any CAS-specific links you have previously bookmarked, to reflect the new Okta login link.

Other login methods will remain unchanged (won’t be integrated with Okta), i.e. logins for new and existing applicants who don’t have University accounts.

It will still be possible to access PageUp from our existing Human Resources pages.
