HSW handbook consultation - Drone safety management

Human Resources have been working on a the revision of the HSW Handbook chapter 鈥Drone Safety Management鈥.

The key changes to the chapter, relate to the clarification of responsibilities for the Supervisor/Person in control of the area/activity, to ensure drone related activities and compliance responsibilities are managed at the local/operational level. (The responsibilities have been documented to match the actual practice in all areas where the responsibilities were previously delegated from the Heads of Schools/Branches to the person in control of the activity.)

Could you please advise/disseminate this information, to the workers in your areas of responsibility in accordance with your consultation arrangements.

Note: that consultation over the Chapter will also be advertised through Staff News under the Policy section.
