Support, Advice, Complaints and Concerns
The University supports a working environment of respect, transparency, and integrity. There are a range of resources you can access if you require additional advice and support regarding your disability.
-
For support and advice
The University’s Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) team is able to provide advice to staff with disability and to discuss options for determining Reasonable Adjustments in the workplace.
The University supports staff and their families by providing access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP provides free short-term counselling to employees and their immediate family, and is confidential and anonymous.
-
What to do if you or a colleague has a complaint or concern
If you believe that you have been treated less favourably than a person without a disability (i.e. discriminated against or harassed), the University’s Integrity Unit can provide you with confidential information and support. You can contact the Integrity Unit anonymously by phone (08 8313 0609) or you can reach out via email - integrityunit@adelaide.edu.au
