Student Employability
Development of graduate employability is a key priority for the ³ÉÈË´óƬ.
Students develop their employability during their studies through gaining expertise in a chosen field and acquiring the skills, capabilities and personal attributes that they need to excel as graduates.
The ³ÉÈË´óƬ’s Ìýdefines the elements of employability development and provides tools for program level mapping across the student lifecycle.
Nested within the framework is specific guidance on the design and mapping of a crucial element of employability development: WIL-in-the-Curriculum. The framework provides a shared understanding and language for how employability is developed so that effective practice can be recognised and built upon.
Employability development happens through our world-class teaching, industry-informed curriculum, careers education, work placements and internships, and other industry interactions, and co-curricular opportunities.
No single approach is the key to developing graduate employability; it is the combination of a range of activities which ultimately contribute to the enhancement of graduate employability and the success of our graduates.
