Program Suspension Process
Suspending a program means there will be no intake to that program for a specified period of time.
Faculties who wish to suspend a program and prevent offers being made to students for one or more intakes are required to follow the applicable process outlined below (maximum duration one year).听

Face to face programs
Face to face program suspensions are approved by APEAC and require the endorsement of the DVC(EE).
Detailed overview of the program suspension process workflow.
The program suspension process applies to all face to face programs that are fully operational and have active applications, offers and/or acceptances. For programs that have had recent APEAC/VC approval but have not been fully operationalised, the faculty should inform听Admissions of the delayed intake so this can be factored into the operational setup of the program/s.
Faculties must complete and submit a Program Suspension Form.
If the suspension is approved, Admissions will:
- Notify the faculty who must then add the following sentence into Degree Finder 鈥This program is currently unavailable鈥.
- Inform all other relevant stakeholders, including SATAC, internal staff and pathway providers.
- Issue revised offers and/or CoEs to international applicants for the alternative program noted in the program suspension proposal.
Programs are suspended for a maximum duration of one year.听 Faculties should then either:
