Turnitin is a text-matching software which compares student submissions to published works, web content, and a library of student assignments across the globe.
From January 2022, the 成人大片 requires that all assessments are submitted and monitored through text comparative software where possible.
In this one-hour workshop you will learn to use and interpret Turnitin Similarity Reports for academic integrity and supporting student learning. Bringing together best practice recommendations and insights from recent academic integrity cases, the session will cover:
- What is the ideal Turnitin similarity score?
- What kinds of text matches are there, and what do they mean?
- When might a Turnitin Similarity report raise a suspicion about academic misconduct?
- How and why do students use Turnitin to check their work?
- 听How can teachers use Turnitin to support academic skills building?
This new ADEPT session will help you ensure Turnitin is supporting academic integrity in your course.听
PLEASE NOTE:听 This session is focused on academic integrity and pedagogical approaches to Turntin. It will not cover Turnitin setup or technical advice regarding MyUni and Turnitin. If you require assistance setting up Turntin in your course, .
