The Library is launching with some great reads from our Yaitya Ngutupira collection. This collection collates works by Aboriginal authors and scholars across a wide array of subjects including law, linguistics, history, fiction, and more.
NAIDOC Week runs annually in the first week of July to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, achievements and culture.
The 2022 theme of focuses on a call for environmental, social and cultural change. It serves as a call for all to engage with continued activism in recognition of First Nations voices and rights in Australian society.
The Library is committed to actively supporting and engaging with Indigenous voices and culture, guided by our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement Framework.
