ThincStart Facilitator:
An experienced Executive and Non-Executive Director, they possess a uniquely developed skill set and a proven record in technology commercialization, stakeholder engagement, and international industry-university partnerships. Their expertise spans research, global and start-up businesses, as well as government funding programs. They work across multiple industry sectors, including Biotech, Pharma, and Ag-Tech, demonstrating unique abilities in facilitating strategic connections across ecosystems.
Passionate about commercializing new technologies for societal benefit, they bring an entrepreneurial spirit to their endeavors, mentoring start-ups and founding their own business. Through this business, they provide support for university IP commercialization, start-ups, and accelerator programs, while also assisting global companies in establishing links with the Australian ecosystem. Their focus is on fostering strategic global and national collaborations and connections, which are critical in the translation of Intellectual Property. They are committed to sharing knowledge and networks as a way to give back.
With experience in board and advisory positions, they were recently appointed as a member of the Investment Review Committee for the prestigious Walter Eliza Hall 66ten Fund, Australia's largest Research Institution Investment Fund.
