With over 20 years as an 'in the trenches' founder, Mike Scott has gone through two successful exits, the most recent of which was in the high seven figures. This experience has fueled his deep passion, understanding, and capability in SMB operating systems, management, and leadership. Today, Mike focuses on coaching and consulting, working with founders and CEOs in a 1:1 capacity or with leadership teams in a group setting. He helps founders become better leaders and more effective in all areas of their lives, and he guides leadership teams to run better businesses and achieve superior results.
Together with some of his favourite collaborators, Mike built and grew Nona Digital into a globally respected software design and development agency, specializing in FinTech and Blockchain scale-ups. Thanks to their sharp focus on positioning, Nona was acquired by Yoco in 2022, where Mike spent nearly two years developing the Partnerships Function.
Mike also hosts the podcast 'How to be Moderately Successful,' where he shares experiences and tools for what works鈥攁nd what doesn鈥檛鈥攊n business. The podcast has garnered a substantial following, with thousands tuning in.
After moving to Australia in 2019, Mike has embraced his new home, though he still holds a fondness for Cape Town. When he's not working with an exciting SMB leadership team or founder, you'll find him on his mountain bike, spending time with family and friends outdoors, or engaging in activities that push him to find comfort in the uncomfortable.
