Need access to a laptop? Don鈥檛 panic! The Library has a new Laptop Self-Service Unit that provides students with 24/7 access to laptops that they can take off campus.

Winner of the 2023 Hugh Martin Weir Prize
The Barr Smith Library and Weir family are pleased to announce that Ashley Dennis-Henderson has been awarded the听2023 Hugh Martin Weir Prize.
Access changes to Level 2 North
Starting Monday 3 April 2023, the Library will begin its refurbishment of Level 2 of the Barr Smith Library. The first stage of the refurbishment will be in the Reading Room. Please note, there will be no access to the Reading Room from 3 April 2023.

Recreational Reading Collection now on Level 1 South
The Recreational Reading collection has now moved to Level 1 South of the Barr Smith Library, across from the Yaitya Ngutupira Collection. Come and relax on the comfy reading chairs or take a book home for the break!
