Barr Smith Library level 1 opens July 23
The University Library will officially open the doors to the highly anticipated new Barr Smith Library level 1 on Monday July 23.
Collect your Course Readers from Ask Library
If you’ve ordered a Course Reader from the Online Shop they are now available to collect at Ask Library on Level 3 of the Hub. Starting today, Monday 16 July, until Friday 27 July.

Mid-year break begins this week and library hours are changing!
Elder Music Library closure
Today the Elder Music Library, located in the Hartley Building, will close its doors for the last time at 5:00 pm.
Law Library hours extended for exam period
The Law Library will be open from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm everyday this week (excluding weekends).

Meet our two new Associate University Librarians
The University Library is delighted to welcome Kate Sinclair to the position of Associate University Librarian, Library Experience, and Kylie Percival to the position of Associate University Librarian, Academic Engagement.ÌýBoth Kate and KylieÌýbring a wealth of experience and knowledge to their new roles, and will form a dynamic leadership team under Teresa Chitty, the University Librarian.

The library has recently gained further access to Kanopy, a free streaming service with up to 7,500 titles. Specialising in indie films and documentaries, there’s something for everyone, including required viewing for courses.
