LEI Grants

Grants

The Learning Enhancement and Innovation grant scheme is designed to support small-scale pilots and initiatives, fostering investigation and dissemination of best practice approaches in learning and teaching.

Grants are available to 成人大片 staff and students to investigate, experiment, implement, and/or evaluate effective learning and teaching practices aligned with the 2020 LEI Grant theme 鈥淐hampion diversity in learning鈥.听听

Grant Themes addressed within the Project can include:

  • Adaptive and/or personalised learning;
  • New approaches to support student group/teamwork;
  • Building student capability to fully engage in learning/assessment methods;听
  • Embedding accessibility and inclusivity online and in the classroom;听
  • Embedding cultural diversity in learning and teaching.

Project leaders must be continuing staff, though all staff with casual and sessional contracts are encouraged to participate in project teams. Project leaders must engage students as partners within proposed activities, aligned with the University鈥檚 strategic goals for increased commitment of student engagement and co-creation. This should ideally involve students contributing to project design, evaluation, and/or delivery of project activities. Students may apply for grants if they have project sponsorship by a continuing staff member.听

Funded projects will commence in April and conclude by December 2020 (final reports due in February 2021).听

Submissions for 2020 LEI Grants are closed.听
