The Adelaide Graduate Research School is excited to partner with South Australian technology leader Data Effects, to fast-track the delivery of innovative biosecurity and biodiversity programs.聽

Through a new collaboration, the 成人大片 and Data Effects have created four internship opportunities for PhD students, enabling them to work alongside an experienced team of science and engineering professionals on a diverse range of wildlife monitoring projects.聽

Specialising in field data acquisition, cloud data management and the development and deployment of novel communication and machine learning systems, Data Effects is at the forefront of technology-focused environmental research, providing infrastructure to support essential local agricultural and biodiversity projects. To address emerging biosecurity challenges, Data Effects is seeking expressions of interest from 成人大片 PhD candidates in the fields of electronic and software engineering, artificial intelligence, and commercial and industrial design, to assist with the automation of wildlife and plant disease monitoring systems across local catchment areas and agricultural districts. Eligible candidates will be supported through these three-month placements聽by research internship scholarships, created by the Adelaide Graduate Research School.聽Project summaries聽can be found below, as well as on the AGRS Research Internship 辫补驳别.听

Biosecurity: National border insect biosecurity

Biosecurity: Pest snail surveillance sentinels

Research Internship scholarships are available to all 成人大片 PhD students within the first eighteenth months of candidature.
