Integrated Bridging Program-Research (IBP-R) Update
We are coming up to end of our second program for the year and so it is a particularly busy time. Students are preparing for their Practice Oral Presentations and working on their Full Draft Research Proposals. Consultations are underway and we are reading proposals across an interesting range of thesis topics. We are also finding that more and more students are involved in exploring cross-disciplinary topics. A further trend we have noted is that many students are undertaking their theses by journal article publications, or a combination of the conventional plus journal article, rather than the traditional thesis format. Obviously this means our students need to understand a number of new features connected to this type of writing and so we have begun toÌý integrate more of these aspect into our program.
