Communications channels
This page provides an overview of the different communications channels available to staff to reach different audiences across the University community.
Use this information as a guide to ensure thatÌýyour message is being communicated to the right audience using the appropriate platforms.
Staff News
Staff News is the University's primary channel for general communication with staff.ÌýIts purpose is to inform, engage, and promote content that is of interest to most staff across the University.Ìý
Staff News is sent weekly to all staff (including casuals), titleholders, and HDR students.
Faculty communications
Faculty marketing spokes manage production and distribution of Faculty-specific staff newsletters and social media accounts. Communications of particular interest to staff within a Faculty should be directed to:

Social Media
The ³ÉÈË´óƬ's main social media channels are managed by the Marketing branch and includes customer service and managing brand reputation, as well as promotion.ÌýThe primary audiences of these channels are broad and public.ÌýThere are also a range of social media accounts managed by different divisions that target different audiences.
Student Communications
Several options are available for targeted communications to students. These include Student News and International student newsletters, direct email and other channels. TheÌýAdelaide Graduate Research SchoolÌýalso has a newsletter for HDR students.

Alumni communications
The Alumni Relations team coordinates the distribution of mass email communications to our 80,000+ alumni and supporters globally who are contactable by email. There are strict guidelines governing the use of these communications.Ìý

Learning and Teaching News
Each month the Learning and Teaching News features articles, notices and events of interest for staff delivering and supporting learning and teaching. Submit achievements, subscribe to the newsletter or contact the team to promote your L&T event or activity via the online forms.Ìý All previous stories featured in the newsletter can also be accessed here.
