Omic Technologies
Plant Accelerator (APPF) is a facility funded by the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). A central component of The Plant Accelerator® (TPA) is the first automated high-throughout phenotyping system in Australia, which remains unique in both scale and open-access policy, attracting researchers from Australia and overseas.
SA Genome Editing Facility (SAGE) FHMS/SAHMRI
SA Genome Editing Facility (SAGE) FHMS/SAHMRI facility is funded by the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS), and uses cutting edge genome editing technology to generate mutant mice for a wide range of applications.
Gene Silencing and Expression Facility (GSEx) RRI
GSEx provides gene manipulation services to Australian researchers in a fully equipped PC2 laboratory. The facility offers custom production of lentiviral, AAV and retroviral vectors, and stock viruses for purchase by the microlitre.
Adelaide Glycomics, a partner laboratory for complex carbohydrate analysis between the ³ÉÈË´óƬ and Agilent Technologies Australia Pty Ltd, helps address key fundamental and applied scientific questions relevant to Agriculture, Food Sustainability, Health & Nutrition, Bioenergy, Biomaterials and Quality of Life.
The APC facility provides a large range of established techniques for identifying proteins, quantifying changes in protein expression levels, and characterising post-translational modifications.
The South Australian Genomics Centre (SAGC) comprises six founding partners – SAHMRI, the ³ÉÈË´óƬ, the University of South Australia, Flinders University, the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) and the Australian Genome Research Facility (AGRF). The Centre, which opened in July 2020, will provide open-access service to the researchers maximising access to genomic technology through outreach, education and training.
