Congratulations to Adjunct Professor Kathy Ehrig
Adjunct Professor Kathy Ehrig (Institute for Mineral and Energy Resources) has been awarded the 2022 and Lecture (Career award) by the Australian Academy of Science. Kathy is recognised for her insights and research leadership into the complex geological events involved in the formation of the supergiant copper-uranium-gold-silver ore deposit at BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam site.

Thanks to everyone who attended the AusIMM International Women’s Day
On 10th March 2022 more than 25 members of the PRIF Mining Consortium, the ARC Training Centre and IMER attended the AusIMM International Women’s Day event at the National Wine Centre. The PRIF financially supported its member’s participation. The keynote speaker, Gill Hicks, was inspiring. We had a good time and there was a sense of community among PRIF and TC participants.
