Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Student Consultative Committee (SCC)
The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Student Consultative Committee (SCC) provides a forum for student representatives to share the concerns and ideas of the broader student body regarding the development, delivery, and quality of relevant coursework offerings in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
Terms of reference
- Build a culture of authentic student engagement and foster student-staff and student-student partnership in the faculty.
- Provide a platform for students to contribute feedback on learning and teaching activities and initiatives in the faculty.
- Provide a platform for students to influence the governance and strategic direction of learning and teaching within the faculty, including making recommendations to the听Faculty Learning and Teaching Committee.
- Build student representation capacity and ensure the student voice is integrated into academic, management, governance structures and policies across the faculty.
- Provide a platform to co-create guides and processes to support student representatives to perform their role.
- Support student representatives to develop their personal and professional capabilities.

The Student Consultative Committee meets bimonthy with Chairing responsibilities rotated between the Committee Sponsor, Dr Danijela Menicanin (Associate Dean Learning Quality and Student Experience) and committee members.

We encourage students to provide feedback on their course and campus experiences that explicitly relate to the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
Student feedback can assist the faculty in identifying areas for course and program improvements or to acknowledge and elevate positive impacts on the student experience with the faculty that should be exemplified across the whole student body.

We will review your feedback submission within seven business days. Following the review, you will be informed about the agenda item relating to your feedback before the next scheduled meeting. You will then receive an update after the conclusion of the meeting.
