If you forget to bring it or have misplaced it, the following forms of ID may be accepted:
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Australian Proof-of-Age Card
- International Passport
- Australian Firearms Licence
- Australian Defence Force Card
- Licence to Perform High Risk Work Card (Australian Government issued – per state)
Note: Digital identification will NOT be accepted.
Stationery
You will need to bring writing equipment to complete your exam. This may include:
- Pens
- Pencils (with an eraser and pencil sharpener, or mechanical pencil)
- Highlighters
- Ruler, set square or protractor
- Small, clear pencil case (consider using a zip-lock bag)
Permitted Materials
If you’re unsure what you can or cannot bring to your exam (eg. calculator, notes), please check your MyAdelaide page under the Exam Timetable and/or with your Course Coordinator. Only permitted materials as specified by your Course Coordinator are allowed in your exam. Being in possession of non-permitted materials constitutes a breach of academic integrity. For more on Academic Integrity, see their website.
Notes (if allowed)
You may be permitted to bring notes into your exam. This will be listed on your exam timetable, under Permitted Materials. Notes may vary from 1 x A4 single sided hand written notes or 1 x double sided hand written notes. If unsure, please check with your Course Coordinator well in-advance of your scheduled exam.
Water Bottle
Some exams can last several hours, so it’s important to be hydrated. You can bring one clear plastic bottle of clear water, up to 1 litre in size. Water is available at the venue. Any other drinks will not be permitted in the venue
Closed Bag
You may bring a closed bag to store under your seat. The university takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to items brought into the venue.
