Diversity or uniformity? Commonwealth-State relations in Australia is a 3-hour online masterclass offered by the Stretton Institute at the ³ÉÈË´óƬ.
The Masterclass will illuminate the dynamics of Commonwealth-State relations and provide participants with knowledge about how to navigateÌýturbulent waters.
The COVID-19 crisis has shown that co-operation is possible, but differences and inconsistencies occur across the nation. The recent bushfires also tested relations. In addition to crises, many routine issues also depend on Commonwealth-State relations, including housing, education etc.
This Masterclass will focus on how public servants contribute to peer-to-peer negotiations and to national ministerial operations.
