PESTA convenor Professor Rachel Ankeny takes part in a National Science Week panel discussion for the History and Philosophy of Science program at the University of Melbourne.

Rachel was joined by Professor Fiona Fidler (University of Melbourne) and Professor Simine Vazire (University of Melbourne) to discuss issues surrounding public mistrust of science. Rachel spoke about the need for a deliberative democratic approach to science communication in order to facilitate greater engagement between experts and non-expert audiences.
