Under the leadership of Heike Ebendorff-Heidepriem as Director of the ANFF Optofab Adelaide Hub and Luis Lima-Marques as Facility Manager, the specialised team of technical staff and equipment are ready to support research groups and industrial companies world-wide, spanning the whole translation continuum from proof-of-concept over prototyping to commercial product development.聽

Optofab Adelaide proudly leads the way in designing and establishing custom-built equipment. Adelaide鈥檚 expert staff have many years of accumulated knowledge and experience and understand the client need for one-time project delivery, by providing expert advice on suitable techniques and applications in order to solve the most demanding of problems.

With world-leading expertise, its goal is to support both current and the next generation of researchers from both industry and academia.

Heike Ebendorff-Heidepriem - Deputy Director

Prof. Heike Ebendorff-Heidepriem

Prof Heike Ebendorff-Heidepriem is Deputy Director of the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS) and Director of the Optofab Adelaide Hub at the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF). She is Senior Investigator of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics (CNBP).

In 2017 she became a Fellow of the Optical Society of America, an honour awarded by peers for having, made significant contributions to the advancement of Optics. Earlier this year, she won the prestigious ARC Industry Laureate Fellowship.

Luis Lima-Marques - Facility Manager

Luis Lima-Marques

Luis has worked in commercial research and development for over 30 years, and has spent over half of that time in various management roles, including intellectual property. He is named as an inventor in over 65 international patents including 8 United-States patents.

Luis is currently the facility manager of the Optofab Adelaide Hub of the ANFF and laboratory manager at the Institute for Photonics & Advanced Sensing (IPAS), both at The 成人大片.
