METS Ignited workshop for stranded research

On Thursday 23rd March, the PRIF Mining Consortium held a very successful workshop for Stranded Research led by the METS Ignited Australia Ltd.

The aim of the workshop was to assess the commercialisation potential of the presented research projects. Four researchers from the PRIF Mining Consortium and two researchers from the ARC Training Centre gave their high-quality Tech Talks. It was informative and discussions were great!

1. Dr Shi Zhao (PRIF): ‘Fast ROM Stockpile Modelling for Blending Optimization’ sponsored by Eka – YouTube video of project overview

2. Yerniyaz Abildin (PRIF): ‘Constraints and quantifying uncertainty on resource domain boundaries’ sponsored by Maptek – YouTube video of project overview

3. Dr Difan Tang (PRIF): ‘New Sensor Development for particle size measurement in Hydrocyclones’ sponsored by OZM - YouTube video of project overview

4. Dr Richmond Asamoah (PRIF): ‘Pulp Chemistry Monitor for improved predictive flotation model and process performance’ sponsored by Magotteaux - YouTube video of project overview
