Biography/ Background
Dr Chelsea Liu is an Associate Professor at the 成人大片 Business School. Her research interests are in the areas of corporate environmental responsibility, corporate governance, gender diversity, and mergers & acquisitions. Chelsea's research has been published in leading finance and legal journals worldwide, including Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and Journal of Empirical Legal Studies (based at Cornell Law School). Chelsea's research has featured on the Harvard Law School Corporate Governance Forum and has been covered by more than 20 news media outlets in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Netherlands.
Chelsea began teaching at the University of Adelaide in 2007. She holds a practicing certificate as a barrister and solicitor in Australia. Prior to becoming a full-time academic, Chelsea worked at commercial law firms.
