  • Biography/ Background

    Senior Lecturer, Academic Lead of Learning and Teaching in the School of Allied Health Science and Practice.

    I completed my Bachelor and Master level degrees in Glasgow before undertaking Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology in Birmingham. I am fully registered practitioner psychologist with the HCPC (UK) and AHPRA (Australia) and listed on the British Psychological Society Register of Approved Applied Psychology Supervisors.

    As a clinician, I have full autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of children and young people presenting with a wide range of difficulties. I have been a member of several therapeutic teams, including family therapy, play therapy, looked-after and accommodated children, and prevention and early intervention. As well as therapeutic responsibility, I have been in involved in service development, developing the NHS Forth Valley CAMHS community drop-in approach.

    As an academic, I was the programme director for the Online Learning MSc Mental Health in Children and Young People: Psychological Approaches, Lecturer in Clinical Education on the Faculty of Medicine’s MSc Clinical Education, and the School of Health and Social Science Director for Technology Enhanced Learning. I joined the 成人大片 in 2021, taking up the position of Senior Lecturer, Academic Lead of Learning and Teaching in the School of Allied Health Science and Practice.
