    Regional Access is a free online and phone counselling service for people who are feeling the pressures and stresses of everyday life whoÌýlive or work in regional, rural or remote South Australia (i.e. outside of the Adelaide metropolitan region).

    You can call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You don’t need a referral, so you can make the call at a time that suits you. The counselling service is free (local call charges may apply).

    Professionally trained counsellors will listen and help you to develop strategies to manage what is causing you to feel stressed or overwhelmed.Ìý

    Suicide Call Back Service offers free professional 24/7 telephone counselling support to people at risk of suicide, concerned about someone at risk, bereaved by suicide and people experiencing emotional or mental health issues.

    Standby- Support After Suicide is an Australian Government initiative, established in 2002 to meet the need for a coordinated community response to suicide. StandBy is Australia’s leading postvention program dedicated to the assisting people and communities impacted by suicide.

    StandBy is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing free face-to face and/or telephone support at a time and place that is best for each individual.ÌýCall 1300 727 247 for access to free phone support 24/7 to connect youÌýto services across Australia.Ìý

    The StandBy program is focused on supporting anyone who has been bereaved or impacted by suicide at any stage in their life, including:

    Learn practical tools to take care of your mental health. ÌýThis Way Up is run by the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression in Sydney. ÌýIt provides free information on anxiety disorders and depression, online therapy and brief courses. ÌýThese can either be self-guided or under the advice of a GP or mental health professional.Ìý
