Alicia Rochler
Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience) and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2010–2015
Alicia Rochler grew up in Mount Gambier and always dreamed of working with animals. She has since followed her passion to become a qualified vet. After Alicia graduated from Roseworthy, she took on a position with the Murray Bridge Vet Clinic. She continues to work with the Clinic today valuing any opportunity to learn new skills in small and large animal medicine.
"I love my job. I am surrounded by amazing staff, who are more like family than colleagues, which certainly helps us get through the stressful days!
"Roseworthy was always a great option for me being so close to Adelaide whilst still in a rural environment."
What is Alicia's fondest memory while she was studying at Roseworthy?
"My modern day memory involves lots of Facebook hacking and posting embarrassing statuses! Sometimes they would end up in someone being tackled from a computer desk. It was also funny sprinting to the fire escapes between halls during a fire drill so we could tape them open so we didn't have to walk to the kitchen in the rain. Of course O'week was always the best week of the year and provided plenty of brilliant entertainment."
