Professor Andrew Abell and Percy Charles Blewett
Professor Andrew Abell studied a BSc and PhD at the University and is now a Professor in the School of Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences, as well as the Adelaide Node Director Centre for Nanoscale BioPhotonics, and Group Leader of the . More than a century ago, in 1908, his grandfather Percy Charles Blewett sat exams offered by the ³ÉÈË´óƬ Public Examinations Board, and went on to become a decorated WWI veteran.

Dr P Raymond Begg AO
Dr P Raymond Begg AO was an Orthodontic pioneer and Australia’s most celebrated dentist. He opened the first orthodontic practice in Adelaide and joined the ³ÉÈË´óƬ as the first lecturer in orthodontics. The P R Begg Museum was officially opened in 2022 to celebrate his work, which revolutionized orthodontic diagnosis and treatment with a new technique for straightening teeth.
