Stress management during the holiday season with Annie Harvey – a special WiSAN event

The end of the calendar year can bring a sense of relief and of rest as people take holidays or time off. However, for many women this time of year can cause a pile up of invisible labour with expectations of coordinating of family events, kids being on holiday and/or navigating potentially difficult family relationships. This sharp increase in invisible labour is often matched with deadlines at work and can lead to increased stress and potential for burn out.

We would like to invite you to join us at the ³ÉÈË´óƬ to hear from Annie Harvey, a TEDx and keynote speaker with expertise in neuroscience and brain health, education and coaching, on how to manage stress around this time of year and lower your risk of burn out.

From this session, you can expect to:

  • Feel uplifted, confident and inspired.
  • Learn how to manage stress strategically.
  • Leave with an attitude of 'can do'.

The keynote will be delivered at the ³ÉÈË´óƬ in the Horace Lamb Lecture Theatre. If you cannot make it in person, the event will also be streamed online. For those attending in person there will be an opportunity to network and socialise at the Adelaide UniBar following the keynote.
