This year we welcome from the University of London as the Milton Sims Visiting Professor. Professor Fleming will deliver the Paul Lee Lecture and speak on Orthodontic Fundamentals: Planning for predictability.
Professor Padhraig Fleming
Professor Fleming is the co-author of three orthodontic textbooks,Ìýand Associate Editor of theÌýAmerican Journal of OrthodonticsÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýDentofacial Orthopedics, theÌýBritish Dental Journal,ÌýJournal of DentistryÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýProgress in OrthodonticsÌýand he is on the editorial board of numerous other journals. As the Milton Sims Visiting Professor, Professor Padhraig FlemingÌýwill present some well-researched clinical pearls to enhance evidence-based best practice.
Padhraig Fleming is Professor, Consultant and Postgraduate TrainingÌýLead in OrthodonticsÌýat theÌý institute of Dentistry, Queen MaryÌýUniversity of London. Padhraig also works in private practice on a part-time basis. He was awarded his MSc. with Distinction in 2007, theÌýMembership in Orthodontics and British Orthodontic Society Medal inÌý2008 and hisÌýPhD in 2013. He is anÌýAssociateÌýEditorÌýof American Journal ofÌýOrthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, British Dental Journal, Journal of Dentistry and Progress in Orthodontics and is on theÌýeditorial board of numerous other journals. He has published more than 130Ìýpeer-reviewed papers and has received numerous research awardsÌýincluding the Chapman Prize from the British Orthodontic Society ²¹²Ô»åÌýthe B.F. and Helen E.ÌýDewelÌýAward from the American Association ofÌýOrthodontists. .
