AIML Community Day was an opportunity for our members to gather together to enjoy the beautiful scenery at Belair National Park. It was wonderful to see so many staff, students, and their families enjoying the sunshine, good food, and AIML camaraderie. Networking and even frisbee tag were on tap for all in attendance.

During the day, Professor Simon Lucey took a moment to reflect on the achievements of the year and express his gratitude for AIML members, many of whom have 'come from all over the globe' to support the Institute. Professor Lucey also emphasised the importance of new talent joining AIML, from graduate students to postdocs, as symbols of growth, opportunity, and the Institute’s rising reputation.

“The work [we're] doing is going to change the world,' he said, underscoring the incredible breadth of work being done at the Institute and its impact.
