We live in interesting times.
The abundance of data, and the increasing power of the tools used to process it have given rise to amazingly varied visions of the future. The apocalyptic predictions of Terminator robots taking all our jobs, are hard to reconcile with common visions of an empowered future where we live a life of luxury enabled by AI.
