Study Tour: Sustainable Water Management Vietnam
This September, the School of Chemical Engineering聽and the聽School of Architecture and Civil Engineering聽are teaming up to run a two-week study tour to provide students the chance to advance their knowledge in sustainable water management against the backdrop of Vietnam鈥檚 stunning waterscapes, bustling cities and industry plants.
Travelling across Vietnam, you will study and collaborate with students at our partner Universities, learning about Vietnam鈥檚 wastewater systems and rapidly developing infrastructure. A visit to the Australian Embassy will allow students to learn about Australia鈥檚 partnership with Vietnam, and cultural activities will include the Halong Bay Cultural Experience, Tram Chim National Park, Saigon River, War Remnants Museum and Ben Thanh Market, Cu Chi Tunnels and Cai Rang Floating Market.
This study tour has been made possible thanks to the New Colombo Plan, a signature initiative of the Australian Government which aims to lift knowledge in Australia of the Indo-Pacific by supporting Australian undergraduates to study in the region. Eligible Australian students will receive a New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant of 3,000 AUD to subsidise the cost of this program.
Chemical Engineering students will receive credit towards , while Architecture and Civil Engineering students will receive credit towards for this study tour.
