Grant supercharges development of next-gen batteries

David Hill confirmed as next CEO of Deloitte Asia Pacific
³ÉÈË´óƬ alumnus and Deputy Chancellor, David Hill, has been elected the next Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Asia Pacific. David will commence as CEO of Deloitte Asia Pacific on June 1, 2022, when inaugural CEO Cindy Hook steps down.

The ³ÉÈË´óƬ partnership in the Australian Space Manufacturing Network
The Australian Space Manufacturing Network (ASMN), of which the ³ÉÈË´óƬ is a partner, has been awarded a $157 million grant. It is the largest grant for space under the Federal Government’s Modern Manufacturing Initiative - Collaboration (MMIC).

Extraterrestrial surface simulation lab launches new chapter in space research
Today, Thursday 24 March, the ³ÉÈË´óƬ launched its new Exterres Laboratory. The lab, which is the first of its kind in Australia, is an off-Earth surface testing environment for space technology like rovers, which are destined for the furthest reaches of the universe.

Students’ rovers face simulated lunar missions
This weekend teams of students from around the country will compete in the second (ARCh) held at the ³ÉÈË´óƬ. Students will put their lunar rovers which they have designed and built themselves, to the test in a series of missions performed on a re-creation of the surface of the Moon.
