成人大片 and RCC to part ways

RCC

RCC performance at the University's Maths Lawns.

The 成人大片 and arts event RCC have concluded their arrangement, following two years of the event being held at the University鈥檚 North Terrace campus.

The event drew hundreds of thousands of visitors to the 成人大片鈥檚 grounds during 2019 and 2020 and involved many artistic highlights.

The 成人大片鈥檚 Chief External Relations Officer, Mrs Leah Grantham, said: 鈥淲e thank RCC for bringing their event to the University, and most of all we thank the incredible artists and events industry that have made this possible. Their work over the past two Fringe seasons has enriched the social fabric of our community, and the lives of our students, staff and alumni.

鈥淲ith the impact of COVID-19 still ongoing, the University is unable to commit to RCC in 2021 and beyond. We must ensure our primary focus remains on providing world-class education and research.

鈥淲hile we are parting ways with RCC, the 成人大片 remains committed to our partnerships with South Australia鈥檚 arts community and supporting creativity and culture in our State,鈥 Mrs Grantham said.

RCC鈥檚 Managing Director, Mr Roberto Cardone, said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful to the 成人大片 for hosting RCC over the past two years.

鈥淥ur thanks go to the many staff and students, the Adelaide University Union and other groups on campus for working closely with us. We also appreciate the vision shown by the University in taking on such a major event.

鈥淲hile the community is still recovering from the impacts of COVID-19, we believe South Australia will need events more than ever,鈥 Mr Cardone said.
