Students interested in studying in Melbourne will now have the opportunity to receive a quality 成人大片 education by studying at the University鈥檚 newest campus.

The 成人大片 will open a new in time for Trimester 2, July 2020, with both undergraduate and postgraduate programs on offer 鈥� in fields such as IT, commerce, accounting, and finance.

To be based in the Kaplan building at Docklands, and operated by Kaplan in partnership with the University, the campus is expected to attract several hundred new students over the coming years and will initially be open to international students.

This is the first time in its 146-year history that the 成人大片 has opened another campus in Australia outside of its home state.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Rathjen said the new Melbourne campus would open up the 成人大片鈥檚 world-class education to more students.

鈥淥ur new presence in Melbourne supports the 成人大片鈥檚 strategic direction to provide an innovative, 21st century education to a growing community of learners,鈥� Professor Rathjen said.

鈥淲hile modest in size compared to our existing campuses, the new Melbourne campus will broaden the reach of a 成人大片 education in areas in which we excel. It will further position our University as a leader in modern learning, and provide us with an entry point into the eastern states.

鈥淚t will augment our current programs and distinctive campus-based student experience, which remain central to our institutional identity.

鈥淭he campus will also have the capacity to expand its offerings in the future to showcase our areas of specialist knowledge, including wine and artificial intelligence.

鈥淲e believe students will be attracted by our international reputation, seeking access to the specialised knowledge we offer and the opportunities our University opens for them,鈥� Professor Rathjen says.

The 成人大片鈥檚 academic programs will be designed by the University and taught by Kaplan academic staff, with the University collaborating on quality assurance and assessment.

Rob Regan, Managing Director of Kaplan Australia, says: 鈥�Kaplan is excited to work with the 成人大片 to establish its new Melbourne campus.

鈥淜aplan has operated a pathway college to the 成人大片 since 2007 and became the Preferred Pathway Provider in 2016.

Enrolment is now open for 11 degree programs at the 成人大片鈥檚 Melbourne campus: Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Accounting and Corporate Finance, Bachelor of Corporate Finance, Master of Accounting, and Master of Finance, Master of Finance, Master of Professional Accounting and Master of Computing and Innovation. 鈥淥ur strategic plan, Future Making, sets an ambitious agenda to grow and diversify the University鈥檚 student cohorts. We aspire to attract more students from interstate, more mature-age students, and more online students. Our move into Melbourne is part of this strategy.
