This workshop aims to foster research and transdisciplinary links between researchers at the ³ÉÈË´óƬ and the University of South Australia who are interested in research on the Marxist concept of alienation and/or framing their own research in terms of alienation theory. It is a workshop for researchers at all stages of their careers.
During the workshop researchers at Stretton Health Equity will report on a narrative review of literature on the links between alienation and health and wellbeing. Workshop attendees will be invited to present their own research in relation to alienation, or present ideas for incorporating alienation into research.
The workshop will also consider the shape of a research agenda on alienation and health and wellbeing and hope to develop new research partnerships, facilitated through a networking lunch to be held after the workshop.
