Youth, Masculinity and the Far Right in Australia
In conjunction with the Academy of Social Sciences, The Fay Gale Centre is delighted to present the 2024 Fay Gale Public Lecture titled Youth, Masculinity and the Far Right in Australia with Professor Pam Nilan from the University of Newcastle. Professor Nilan discusses project findings from the Australian Research Council Discovery-funded project titled Far Right in Australia: Intellectuals, Masculinity and Citizenship, supplemented by examples from far-right groups in Australia that specifically target young (white) men for recruitment.
