Tasmanian Tiger Meets Hokkaido Wolf

Australia and Japan beyond eco-anxiety. A powerful short film from the School of Social Sciences will ease audiences’ eco-anxiety in a most unusual way – through exploration of the tragic extinction stories of the Australian Tasmanian tiger and Japanese Hokkaido wolf. Designed to empower people and inspire new ways of thinking about human/nature relationships for a more sustainable future, the short film will be followed by the presentation of a manga about the Hokkaido Wolf – for the first time in English – written by the creator of the worldwide phenomenon Astro Boy.
