Join the UK-based, political economist, Dr Katherine Trebeck for her lecture titled 'The Wellbeing Economy: Re-imagining the Role of Economics in Society to Create a Healthier, Sustainable and Fairer Future'

Dr Katherine Trebeck is a political economist, writer and advocate for economic system change. Her roles include writer–at–large at the University of Edinburgh, consultant to the Club of Rome, a Strategic Advisor for the Centre for Policy Development, and Economic Strategy Advisor to The Next Economy. She co-founded the Wellbeing Economy Alliance and also WEAll Scotland, its Scottish hub. She is a member of the Club of Rome and her board roles have included a range of groups such as the C40 Centre for Urban Climate Policy and Economy, the Centre for Understanding Sustainable Prosperity, and The Democracy Collaborative.

Dr Katherine Trebeck is visiting South Australia and meeting with a range of government and non-government organisations. This is the only public lecture she is giving so come along and hear a message of hope for how we can turn around a GDP and fossil fuel driven economy.
