What does a space cadet do during his Electrical Engineering degree? Build the first satellite in Australia聽of course. With other students and the encouragement of his Professor, 鈥測ou will learn more from that than a year at the Uni鈥.
He was right.
Dr Owen Mace followed his undergraduate degree with a PhD in Physics, and soon after gained experience working at聽Ericsson's Research Labs (first all-digital telephone system) and British Aerospace Australia where he travelled the world looking at R&D projects. Following this, he joined an Australian IT company to launch their defence and space聽business. He then took a break聽to play with aeroplanes, electronics and software 鈥 what more could a fella want?
Join us to hear more about Dr Owen Mace and his聽career journey. Registrations close Monday 22 March.聽
