New Strategic Initiative at the 成人大片
The 成人大片鈥檚 Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources (ISER) is thrilled and proudly announces the creation of the Centre for Sustainable Operations and Resilient Supply Chains (CSORSC). The Centre will launch in May 2024, headed by world-renowned supply chain researchers, Prof. Kannan Govindan and Assoc. Prof. Devika Kannan. These experts have had a transformational impact on supply chains across industries globally.听 In their new roles, they听will听build on Australia's strong reputation within digitalisation and environmentally sustainable solutions. The initiative will establish resilient manufacturing systems, enabled by digital technologies to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing.
CSORSC鈥檚 holistic and integrated approach to supply chain management brings together advanced modelling, AI,听big data,听machine learning, engineering, policy, geopolitics, ethics, economics, and systems design听to develop end-to-end value chain solutions that minimise environmental impact and maximise competitiveness. These factors will build economically sustainable, resilient, and scalable manufacturing systems to enable production equipment reuse and extend product life. The Centre will help mobilise a new skilled workforce听capable of sustaining advanced manufacturing in Australia听while听supporting Australia's economic and environmental welfare.听
The new Centre will help听modernise supply chains听as we move towards a circular economy听and net zero in听key sectors, including critical minerals and mining, medical devices and products, agriculture and wine, clean energy听(hydrogen), defence, and space initiatives.听
