Australia-China University Presidents Forum Delegation visits the 成人大片

A high-level senior executive delegation comprising almost 50 representatives from 23 leading research-intensive Chinese universities recently visited the 成人大片 to learn more about the University, and in particular, its research strengths in medicine and oenology.

The delegation, which included the Minister Counsellor, Embassy of the People鈥檚 Republic of China in Australia, and Vice-Presidents, Directors and Deputy Directors from prestigious聽institutions, heard presentations from Professor Jessica Gallagher, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (External Engagement), Professor Laura Parry, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Excellence), Division of Research and Innovation, Professor Christopher Sweeney, Director, South Australian immunoGENomics Cancer Institute, and Professor Kerry Wilkinson, Professor of Oenology and Associate Head of School (Research), School of Agriculture, Food and Wine.

The program included a tour of the 成人大片鈥檚 North Terrace Campus and the South Australian Museum鈥檚 Australian Aboriginal cultures gallery. The SA Museum tour was facilitated by Professor John Carty, Professor of Museum and Curatorial Studies at the 成人大片 and Head of Humanities at the South Australian Museum.

The delegation was in Adelaide to meet with the聽Group of Eight聽(Go8) leadership at the 2024 Australia-China University President鈥檚 Forum. This was the first and largest Chinese university delegation to meet with Go8 leadership since COVID-19.

The President鈥檚 Forum was coordinated by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), a nationwide organisation with 1,212 Chinese member institutions supporting international educational exchanges and cooperation.
