Vietnam Cyber Awareness and Safety for Teachers event

The 成人大片 recently marked the completion of a six-week Cyber Awareness and Safety Teacher training program for teachers in Vietnam.

The 成人大片 CSER Digital Technologies Education group collaboration delivers support internationally to high school teachers in Vietnam through the sharing of digital technology resources for the classroom and ongoing professional networking.听

Launched on Thursday 26 August, participants attended from major cities across Vietnam including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Danang. Certificates were awarded at the online award ceremony on 5 November following 6 weeks of Cyber Awareness and Safety Teacher Training.

The 成人大片 and CSER Digital Technologies Education group plan to expand the program to high schools in South East Asia in 2022 and beyond.听

About CSER

The Computer Science Education Research centre primarily conducts research into how to scale education opportunities using technology and how to provide online education in the most effective manner.

In collaboration with researchers from the School of Computer Science, CSER has been awarded $9.5m in grant funding for the听Mathematics Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Mathematics Hub by Education Services Australia and the 成人大片, and for their project 'Closing the Digital Divide for Disadvantaged Students' by the Department of Education and Training.

Currently, CSER has over 40,000 Australian teachers working with CSER and their resources from all corners of the country including very remote communities, with a high participation rate from low socioeconomic status areas and schools with high indigenous involvement.
