Memorandum of Understanding signed with ONHYM, Morocco
On November 27, 2019, the University signed an agreement with the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) in Rabat, Morocco. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof Pascale Quester, pictured with ONHYM General Director Mrs Amina Benkhadra, led the Adelaide delegation, which included representatives from the Institute for Mineral and Energy Resources (Dr Chris Matthews), the Australian School of Petroleum and Energy Resources (Dr Khalid Amrouch), and Global Engagement (Mrs Susanne Raneskold). The agreement is intended to create links in the areas of scientific and technical cooperation, research, organisation of joint seminars and training activities in the various disciplines of oil and mining exploration and management.
