At the ‘Take a Seat’ celebration, ³ÉÈË´óƬ Chancellor and alumna, The Hon Cathy Branson AC KC recalled in her speech, “There was talk, serious talk, about knocking it down to build something new and modern – something “more fit for purpose. This provoked quite a fiery debate, and protests, and thankfully those on the side of history won, and the Hall was saved from the wrecking ball.

Jazz bassist and composer Anna recalls many years of memories at Elder Hall. Since graduating in 2012, Anna has been living, working and creating in Los Angeles where she has performed, recorded and toured with various artists and performed at Madison Square Gardens.

Sydney born and raised singer-songwriter, Nico Wyatt-Smith, knew he wanted to propose to his partner Diana in an intimate and unique way that reflected his musical talents.
A romantic at heart, in the past he had written love songs for his now fiancé and played them at home on his piano on their anniversaries, but he felt popping the question called for something more special, something grander.
