Event: Wild Earth Oceania Film Festival
Get ready for an unforgettable cinematic experience at the Inaugural Wild Earth Oceania Film Festival, taking place in Adelaide from January 16th to 24th. This exciting week-long event features an impressive line-up of short films, as well as Opening and Closing Night Gala functions that are not to be missed.
We鈥檙e thrilled to announce that the Environment Institute is one of the proud sponsors of this event and will be presenting two extraordinary sessions on听Tuesday January 23rd at the Braggs Lecture Theatre, 成人大片. Each session will be followed by an expert Q&A panel, providing valuable insights and further discussion on the topics raised in the films.
The Wild Earth Oceania Film Festival itself will showcase 68 incredible films over 21 sessions relating to Wildlife, the Environment, Indigenous culture, and Natural History with expert Q&A panels afterwards.听 The full festival program is available听

Human Nature Reconnection
鈥淗uman Nature Reconnection鈥 explores the theme of how we can treat nature right and co-exist harmoniously together. Five remarkable films will delve into this subject, taking you on an inspiring journey from giant underwater forests to Belizean fisherfolks turning into shark researchers. This session promises to provide valuable insights into alternative ways for us to interact with wildlife.
