Reflecting the current environment, this special presentation of Research Tuesdays will be an online seminar.


Space exploration of any kind is difficult. Doing it for extended periods with human crews is a challenge beyond imagining. Something that would help immeasurably, however, would be the ability to identify and extract resources and use them to manufacture fresh stocks of life- and mission-critical items鈥攊n situ on distant celestial bodies.

The Environment Institute's is Research Director of the 成人大片鈥檚 Centre for Sustainable Planetary and Space Resources. He is also Deputy Dean (Research) of the University鈥檚 Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences.

Associate Professor John Culton is Director of the 成人大片鈥檚 , and a former colonel in the US Air Force.

NASA believes it can be done, as does the European Space Agency. And some of the world鈥檚 most promising research and development in the area is occurring right here at the 成人大片.
